How To Store Homemade Seasoning Blends

In order to keep your dried seasoning blends fresh and able to last the longest, you’ll want to make sure to store them in an airtight container. Not only should it be in an airtight container, but you should also keep your herb blends in a cool, dry and dark place. Try to avoid leaving them near the stove top if possible. This will help the flavors last longer.

This Italian Seasoning blend should last up to 3 months when stored properly.

Ways To Use Italian Seasoning

You can find a plethora of recipes on my site that use Italian Seasoning, but here are a few of my favorites!

Store seasoning in an airtight container for maximum freshness.

Where to Get Spice Jars

I picked up the above pictured spice jars for a few bucks each at Walmart. But I just ordered myself this set of glass jars from Amazon and I can’t wait! They’re so cute and I love the labels that come with them.

If you haven’t tried out my Homemade Taco Seasoning, don’t miss it! That’s another staple that I can’t live without in my pantry!

I would love for you to come up with a recipe for Onion Soup Mix. The store bought one (Lipton) contains MSG, which my hubby cannot tolerate. It gives him a severe, long headache .
