This Super Easy Taco Pizza has all the flavors you love in a taco, but turned into a family favorite pizza!

My family absolutely loves this Super Easy Taco Pizza! It's an easy recipe that my kids beg for!pinterestThis Super Easy Taco Pizza has been a long time family favorite. My kids constantly ask for this delicious creation and I’m happy to oblige.

You know I’m a fan of all things quick and easy, so when Pillsbury reached out to me about their all new Pillsbury’s Best Pizza Dough I was so excited! Their new pizza dough comes more ready than ever with a 12″ pizza dough that’s rolled up with parchment paper (which makes cooking and clean up so much easier)!

Pillsbury's new pizza dough is super fresh and easy to use! It comes on top of parchment paper which makes baking and clean up so much easier!

The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was how fresh the dough smelled! The dough was soft and tender and didn’t require any rolling out or stretching as it was already rolled up in parchment paper, ready to go. All I needed to do was unroll and place on my baking sheet!

This Taco Pizza is perfect for pizza night and taco Tuesday!

I popped the dough into the oven for a few minutes to par-bake the dough. “Par-baking” means to bake it partially. This method allows the crust of the pizza to cook fully without burning or scorching any toppings.

Since the taco pizza toppings don’t really need anything more than being heated and cheese melted, it’s best to do the par-baking of the crust for this recipe.

You're going to LOVE this Super Easy Taco Pizza! It's the best of both worlds!

There are two new types of Pillsbury Best Pizza Dough (which you can find in the refrigerated section, near all the other Pillsbury items), they now have Classic Pizza Dough (used in this recipe) and Thin Crust Pizza Dough!

Once the pizza was finished baking, the crust was chewy and crisp… just as you would hope for in any pizza!

This pizza dough would be perfect for this Pretzel Pizza or Cheeseburger Pizza!

You're going to LOVE this Super Easy Taco Pizza! It's the best of both worlds!

My kids LOVE this pizza and so do I!

The base of this taco pizza is simply refried beans, cheese and taco meat. Add all your favorite taco toppings and make it your own!

You're going to LOVE this Super Easy Taco Pizza! It's the best of both worlds!

Give the new Pillsbury Pizza Dough a try for your next pizza night… or taco Tuesday! 🙂

Made this and the dough was a complete failure. I followed your instructions to the T. The first baking caused the dough to puff up in huge bubbles. The parchment and pizza pan were both wet. Following the final baking, with meat and cheese, the dough was not baked on the bottom and was tough and chewy.
Any ideas as to what might have happened? I used the classic Pillsbury pizza dough as you suggested.

    1. Hi Patty, I’m sorry you had an issue with the crust. Sounds like your oven wasn’t hot enough before baking? When your oven is hot it’ll be the right temperature to evaporate any excess moisture you’re seeing. If that happens again, make sure you cook it longer. Bubbles are fine, you can just spread your topping right over the top. 🙂

Another awesome and easy recipe! Great idea to add Fritos! I used the Pillsbury Thin Pizza Crust and just shaped it to the round pizza pan. Cooked it just the way you said and it came out nice and crispy. Will definitely make it again.

Its a great recipe!. Only thing I do different is add diced bell peppers of all colors and top with green onions. Love the dang Fritos for that extra crunch.

Its also great for tossing in a deep freeze for another night minus the lettuce of course. you can add that later.

Can’t wait to try the new pizza dough!! We absolutely love Pillsbury Pie Crust, so hopefully the new product will be the same great quality.
