That’s exactly what I did here, and let me tell you, it’s amazing!
Taco Spaghetti
Sometimes you just need a good old classic Spaghetti dinner, but why not jazz it up with some taco seasoning and load it with your favorite taco toppings too?
As an added bonus, it’s all made in just one pan!
Ingredients Needed
You’ll need just a few basic ingredients to whip up this easy Taco Spaghetti. As always, you can find the full list of ingredients in the printable recipe card below.
- Ground Beef – lean ground beef
- Onion – diced
- Garlic – minced
- Seasonings – taco seasoning, chili powder and oregano
- Crushed Tomatoes
- Beef Broth – or you can use water
- Milk
- Spaghetti Noodles – or any type of pasta would work!
How To Make Taco Spaghetti
The best thing about this quick weeknight meal is that it’s all prepared in just one pan!
That means less dishes and less clean up for you. Hooray!
BROWN THE BEEF
Start by browning the ground beef along with the onion in a large pot over medium-high heat.
You’ll want to use a pot with high sides because we will also be cooking the pasta in the same pan.
Once the beef is cooked, crumbled and no longer pink, you’ll need to drain off any excess fat and then return the skillet/pot to the stove top.
ADD SEASONINGS
Stir in the seasonings to the ground beef, along with the garlic and cook until fragrant.
Then pour in the crushed tomatoes, beef broth and milk and bring the mixture to a low boil.
Once the sauce is boiling, add in the spaghetti noodles.
Stir the noodles occasionally so they do not stick to the bottom or together. The sauce with start to thicken as the noodles cook and absorb the flavors.
ADD TACO TOPPINGS
Once the noodles are tender, you can serve with your favorite taco toppings. You’ll definitely want to add some cheese as well as some cilantro and diced tomatoes!
When I tell you that my kids loved this recipe, it’s an understatement.
They’ve been begging me to make it again and again! It’s quick, easy and totally kid-friendly… what’s not to love?!
Make Ahead and Storage
I love how easy this recipe is to double because I can easily freeze any leftovers for a later date. I use my Souper Cubes to freeze the leftovers and it reheats beautifully.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Taco Spaghetti can be frozen for up to 3 months. Place in fridge for 24 hours to defrost, then reheat in the microwave or gently over the stove top (extra broth may be added to enhance the sauce).

Will be making this soon. Sounds delicious. I usually cut recipes in half and bake in a smaller dish. Will probably use a can of Rotel instead of plain tomatoes. Thank you for sharing.
