15 minutes is all you’ll need to whip up this Ground Beef Ramen Stir Fry.
It’s an easy recipe that’s filled with twirly ramen noodles, frozen stir fry veggies and hearty ground beef in a simple Asian-inspired sauce that’ll blow you away.

With school back in session, after school activities and homework, the evenings can be hectic. That’s why I’m always on the search for quick dinner recipes to streamline our nights.
What could be easier than a jazzed up ramen bowl?!
Ground Beef and Ramen
This dinner was a no-brainer. I pulled out some ramen noodles, a pound of ground beef and a bag of frozen stir fry veggies and dinner was on the table in about 15 minutes.
Ingredients Needed
Here’s the basic list of ingredients you’ll need to make this ramen and ground beef stir fry. As always, you can find the full list of ingredients located in the printable recipe card below.
- Ground Beef – you can swap this with steak strips, ground pork, ground chicken or even ground turkey for a more lean meal.
- Stir Fry Veggie Blend – I always have a pack of stir fry veggies in my freezer ready to go for a quick meal. Feel free to switch up the type of veggies you’re using to what your family prefers. I’ve used a frozen bell peppers and onions mix, frozen carrots, peas and corn, etc.
- Shredded Cabbage – the addition of shredded cabbage at the end adds extra nutrients to this meal, as well as a great texture to each bite. I usually have a bag of coleslaw mix in my fridge, but if you don’t have this you can definitely leave it out.
- Ramen Noodles – just a few packs of the cheap ramen noodles are all you’ll need. discard the flavor packet, you won’t need them for this recipe.
- Sauce Ingredients – the simple sauce we’re making is comprised of soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce and a little bit of sriracha for some added spice. It’s a blend of sweet, salty and spicy.

How To Make Ramen Stir Fry
A quick cooking stir fry requires you to have all your ingredients prepped and ready to go. Luckily, there is barely any prep involved with this recipe because we’re using ready-to-go frozen veggies and ground beef.
Brown the Beef
Start by cooking your ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. You’ll want to drain off any excess fat, then return the skillet to the stove top.
Add in some garlic and ginger and cook until fragrant, then toss in your frozen veggie mix.
Cook the veggies over medium-high heat, stirring often, until they’re warmed through and tender.

Cook Ramen
In a separate pot, bring some water to a boil, then add in the packs of ramen noodles. No need to add the flavor packet to the water. Ramen noodles cook very fast, so you’ll only need to boil them about 2 to 3 minutes.
Drain the noodles and then add them to the stir fry along with the shredded cabbage and sauce.

Combine and Enjoy
All that’s left to do is combine the noodles, sauce, ground beef and veggies all together and dinner is done.
I like to top my stir fry with sliced green onions, a sprinkle of sesame seeds and a drizzle of sriracha. It’s perfection in a bowl.

Whenever I whip up this meal, my kids will devour it. They love ramen, but I love that I can add extra protein and veggies to make it a dinner I can also feel good about.
Make Ahead and Storage
This dinner takes just 15 minutes to whip up and tastes best when it’s fresh. For that reason, I wouldn’t recommend making it ahead of time.
If you do have any leftovers you can place them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Reheat leftovers in the microwave until heated through. You may need to add a little extra water or beef broth (if you have that on hand) to add more moisture to the noodles once they’ve sat in the fridge.

This colorful dinner is *chef’s kiss* so good and ready in just 15 minutes!
