Combine the soy sauce (½ cup), brown sugar (¼ cup), hoisin sauce (3 tbsp), sriracha hot sauce (2 tsp) and sesame oil (1 tsp) in a small dish and whisk to combine. Set aside for later use.
For The Stir Fry
Add about 6 cups of water to a medium size pot and bring to a boil. Meanwhile heat a separate large pan over medium-high and cook ground beef until crumbled and no longer pink. Drain off any excess fat and return pan to medium-high heat.
Stir in garlic (1 tsp) and ginger (1 tsp) to the ground beef and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add the frozen stir fry veggies and cabbage (2 cups) to the beef and cook until heated through, while at the same time, add the ramen noodles to the boiling water and cook until tender, about 3 minutes.
Drain the noodles and add to the beef and veggie mixture.
Pour in the prepared sauce and stir everything together, allowing the sauce to thicken and coat all the beef and noodles. Serve with freshly sliced green onions over the top and enjoy!
Notes
Feel free to swap the frozen veggie blend for your favorite blend of mixed veggies. If using fresh veggies: cook the vegetables until tender crisp in the pan with a tablespoon of oil prior to cooking the beef. Remove the veggies, cook the ground beef and then add the veggies back into the pan with the noodles.
