You can blend the granola right in the smoothie or spoon a little on top for a delightful crunch.

Either way you’re gonna love it.

If you’re not a fan of the berry blend, mix it up with your favorite frozen fruit. Switch out the strawberry yogurt for some vanilla, or give it a little more sweetness by subbing milk for a low fat chocolate milk.

Instructions

  • Pour the milk, yogurt and frozen berries into a 1/2 quart sized jar (with a regular mouth opening).
  • You can add the granola to the jar and blend it with the berries and milk or save the granola for after it's done blending. It's up to you.
  • To blend in the mason jar: remove the blade base of your blender pitcher and simply attach it to the mouth of the mason jar by screwing it on. Secure it tightly then flip the jar upside down and blend for 20-30 seconds, or until desired consistency. Sprinkle with granola and Enjoy!

  1. I add a heaping scoop of Whey powder to my smoothies, it looks like it’s around 1/8 cup. This helps fill you up and also great if you have a teenage boy that exercises alot.

  2. Looks like we were both thinking smoothies today! I am on a smoothie kick. I need more fruits and veggies! I would love to have this for breakfast!

I hope you had a safe trip back!

    1. Hi Tanya! You can use your favorite type of granola. I wouldn’t use one with raisins in it if you’re going to blend the granola into the smoothie though. Hope that helps!
