Surf & Turf Skewers

————————————————————————–
My husband works out of state, so I am usually just a cook for my children. This past weekend for the 4th of July he was able to come home for a few nights. I wanted to prepare some real “man food” for him.
What’s more manly than Steak and Shrimp, covered in Bacon?
{side note: everything is better with bacon!}
Raw bacon and meat on skewers.
Remember my swap that I had a few weeks back? Well I was over-joyed when I opened my package to find all sorts of goodies for my grill!
I received a set of skewers and McCormick {my fav} Montreal Steak seasoning.
Both were used for this occasion!

{wow, my mouth is watering right now!}

My favorite steak was used here…a nice juicy ribeye! Gotta love the meat!

To top it off, I roasted some Corn on the Cob, Green Onions, and Bell Peppers!

Cobs of corn on a grill.

Which brings me to another lovely item I was sent!

These cute little Corn-Holders {which are perfect for eating corn using the typewriter method…c’mon, you know what I’m talking about!}

And don’t forget the little tray that holds your corn so perfectly!

Sweet…

Needless to say, my husband was pleasantly satisfied. {and did the manly thing of going straight to the couch for a nap}

Job well done! ::pat on the back::

    I know exactly what you’re saying about that Montreal Steak Seasoning! That stuff is soooo delicious on everything!!! Of course, I havn’t tried it on ice cream……..yet. Bacon wrapped ANYTHING is bound to be delicious, so the shrimp will be perfection! Summer grilling season can’t come too soon for me – go away rain!

    1. Hi Janet! The only thing I did was season the steak with some Montreal Steak Seasoning. I’ll post a recipe for you to print out! 🙂
