These Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings are just two ingredients and ready in 20 minutes!
Over New Year’s break we had some friends staying with us for a couple days. One night we decided on wings for dinner because they had raved about a Lemon Pepper wing that they always get in California. We ordered some wings from a local place and they were… well, they were just ok.
They promised that the ones they normally get were a lot better, so I set out to see if I could create a Lemon Pepper wing that blow our socks off.
I did it.
I’ve been obsessed with using my Air Fryer these last few months and it was the perfect way to quickly and easily make these Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings.
Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings
- All you need is a good Lemon Pepper seasoning and chicken wings!
- You can buy the whole wing and separate them yourself, discard the wing tips.
- I found wings that were already separated, making this recipe even quicker and easier!
All you need to do is toss the wings in the Lemon Pepper seasoning (I used McCormick) and place them in the basket of your air fryer.
I have the NuWave Brio 6 quart Digital Air Fryer.
Air Fryer Chicken Wings
- Place the wings in an even layer in the air fryer for the quickest cooking time.
- Preheat the air fryer for about 3 to 5 minutes prior to cooking. If your air fryer doesn’t have a preheat setting, just turn the air fryer to the desired temperature for 5 minutes.
- Cook the wings for 10 minutes, then flip and finish cooking for another 10 minutes.
The wings get a nice crispy coating and stay super juicy and tender on the inside!
These wings are great for a quick snack, an easy dinner or great for game day.
Dry Rub Chicken Wing Seasoning Options:
Think how many options there are with this simple dry rub method!
- Use your favorite spice blends to make out of this world wings like:
- Cajun seasoning
- Greek seasoning
- Taco seasoning
- Try sprinkling with garlic powder, salt and black pepper
Dip the wings in ranch dressing and serve with carrot and celery sticks for a winning combination.
These wings will definitely blow you away. Crispy seasoned skin on the outside and a juicy chicken on the inside. YUM!
