White Chocolate Muddy Buddy Mix

I thought this White Chocolate Muddy Buddy Mix would be a nice distraction from all the chaos here.

I love {adore, yearn for, can’t live without, etc.} white chocolate.

Add some peanut butter, and you’ll be my best friend for life!!

So it’s no surprise that Reese’s White Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups are insane de-lish!!

Here’s a yummy twist on the classic Muddy Buddy Mix….

Here are the ingredients: Rice Chex, Reese’s White Chocolate Miniatures, Reese’s Pieces, Powdered Sugar, (not pictured) butter, and vanilla extract.

Start off by slowly unwrapping each miniature cup… {oh yeah, that’s nice!}

Place all the miniature cups and butter into a microwave safe dish. Heat for 1 minute, stir, heat for an additional 30 seconds, stir, and repeat until mixture is smooth.

Add your vanilla and stir some more.

Have your Rice Chex waiting in a separate large bowl. Pour the White Chocolate Peanut Butter mix on top.

Give it all a good mix.

Do it softly, you don’t want to crush all the cereal.

Transfer the coated cereal into a zip close bag and add the powdered sugar.

Shake the cereal around  to get it evenly coated with the sugar.

Dump it all out onto a baking sheet that is lined with wax paper.

Spread out the delicious mixture and let it cool.

Throw in some Reese’s Pieces and you have yourself a treat that will take away all your worries.

{disclaimer: it wont literally take away ALL your worries…but it definitely helps}

Ingredients

  • 9 cups Rice Chex Cereal
  • 3 cups White Chocolate Reese’s Miniatures
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup Reese’s Pieces, optional

Instructions

  • Into large bowl, measure cereal; set aside.
  • In 1-quart microwavable bowl, microwave White Chocolate Peanut Butter cups and butter uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag.
  • Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Add Reese’s Pieces on top (optional). Store in airtight container.
