White Chocolate Muddy Buddy Mix

It’s been a mad house over here!

We are in the process of packing up our house and moving only the necessities into our 5th wheel trailer. {it’s all in the name of love}

I am currently trying to figure out how to sneak all of my kitchen gadgets and gizmo’s aboard {it’s going to be tricky}.

I thought this White Chocolate Muddy Buddy Mix would be a nice distraction from all the chaos here.

I love {adore, yearn for, can’t live without, etc.} white chocolate.

Add some peanut butter, and you’ll be my best friend for life!!

So it’s no surprise that Reese’s White Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups are insane de-lish!!

Here’s a yummy twist on the classic Muddy Buddy Mix….

A display of needed ingredients to make White Chocolate Muddy Buddy Mix.

Here are the ingredients: Rice Chex, Reese’s White Chocolate Miniatures, Reese’s Pieces, Powdered Sugar, (not pictured) butter, and vanilla extract.

Start off by slowly unwrapping each miniature cup… {oh yeah, that’s nice!}

A pile of unwrapped white chocolate peanut butter cups.

Place all the miniature cups and butter into a microwave safe dish. Heat for 1 minute, stir, heat for an additional 30 seconds, stir, and repeat until mixture is smooth.

A hand adding vanilla to liquid in a glass bowl.

Add your vanilla and stir some more.

Melted mixture being poured on top of cereal in a bowl.

Have your Rice Chex waiting in a separate large bowl. Pour the White Chocolate Peanut Butter mix on top.

A spatula stirring cereal mixture in glass bowl.

Give it all a good mix.

Do it softly, you don’t want to crush all the cereal.

A hand holding a container of powdered sugar in front of a ziplock bag with cereal mixture in it.

Transfer the coated cereal into a zip close bag and add the powdered sugar.

Cereal being dumped onto a baking sheet from a ziplock bag.

Shake the cereal around  to get it evenly coated with the sugar.

Dump it all out onto a baking sheet that is lined with wax paper.

A pan covered in a cereal mix.

Spread out the delicious mixture and let it cool.

Throw in some Reese’s Pieces and you have yourself a treat that will take away all your worries.

{disclaimer: it wont literally take away ALL your worries…but it definitely helps}

If that doesn’t make your day better…well, I guess there’s always ice cream!
