These Ranch Croutons are a super quick fix and are a great way to use up day old bread!
Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
I had left over crust from making some delicious French Toast Sticks.
Girl #2 loves bread crust {she’s 8 months old}, but I was dying to make me some Ranch Croutons, so I had to steal them from her {don’t judge}.
Croutons are seriously so so sooo simple! You’ll never buy croutons again!
If you don’t have crusts lying around, you can cut up some left over dinner rolls, or pretty much any type of bread. The bread I am using in Potato Bread, but feel free to use whatever you have.
Cut them up into bite-sized pieces and lay them on a foil lined baking sheet.
Drizzle olive oil over the lot and give it a good mix with your hands. Try and get all the pieces nice and coated.
{Oh yeah baby…Ranch!}
Sprinkle a fair amount of ranch dressing mix on the oil soaked bread.
Give it a good toss.
Spread them out evenly over the sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 13-15 minutes.
Try not to eat them all before you get them on your salad!
It’s hard, trust me!
Girl #1 and Boy #1 almost snuck all of them out of the kitchen, luckily for you {but mostly for me} I caught them in the knick of time!
I love Ranch dressing, but my waistline does not. These are my alternative.
For some reason I feel like I am spoiling myself with these little croutons {or “crunchies” as my children call them}.
Maybe I am… maybe I am…
We all deserve our own little indulgences.
