Keep your eye out for any proteins {beef, chicken, turkey} that go on sale, and buy in bulk. Stock up your freezer, so you’re prepared for many meals to come. Also try to plan meals according to what’s fresh and in-season {those items are usually on sale}.
Finally, I was asked about breakfast and lunch…why not plan for these meals?
I usually “mentally” plan for these meals. I always keep an ample supply of cereal, eggs, and pancake mix on hand for breakfasts. We always buy fresh fruit that we eat during the day for snacks. My pantry is full of the necessary ingredients for sandwiches, soups, and salads for lunch time. And we always end up with more leftovers than we know what to do with, so those get eaten during lunch as well.
If you’re dying to know the recipe to anything on my dinner menu {located on the top left} let me know and I will be sure to post it for you! Feel free to jot down your Menu in the comments section! The more ideas out there, the easier it is to plan!
