Are you searching for some really cute Valentine’s Day Party Ideas? You’re in luck! I’ve got several tasty treats that are perfect for any Valentine’s Day party and I’m just dying to share them with you!
Planning a party doesn’t have to mean that you spend countless hours in your kitchen slaving away. You know me better than that. I’m all about quick and easy, so you know everything I’m sharing today is going to be a snap to make.
First things first – If you’re looking for some cheap decorations, check out your dollar store. You’d be surprised at how much stuff they have there! I wanted to keep the theme of my party white, with pink and red accents. Pretty typical of a Valentine’s Day Party. I used a plastic white table covering, and white serving plates. You can use some pink or red tissue paper underneath your appetizers or treats for a little added dimension.
Let’s talk about COOKIES! I have two different {easy} cookies to share with you.
First ones are these Red Velvet Pinwheel Cookies.
These cookies are so delicious. I took a red velvet cake mix and made a cake mix cookie dough out of it by adding some eggs and oil and stirring until it became a soft cookie dough.
I pressed the cookie dough out onto a Pillsbury ready made pie crust, rolled it up, and cut it into little pinwheels. You’ll need to bake these in a muffin tin because the cookie dough wants to spread out. But if it’s in the muffin tin, it pops up and creates a tender soft red velvet cookie wrapped inside a flaky pie crust.
Yeah, it’s basically as dreamy as it sounds and looks. I wish I took a picture of what it looks like when you bite into one. The pie crust is swirled inside the tender cookie, which is both pretty and extremely tasty.
Since it’s red velvet I had to give it a cream cheese drizzle… you just have to, I’m pretty sure it’s written somewhere.
If you want an even easier cookie that will double as a fun activity for your little ones, then you need to make these Valentin’s Sugar Cookie Pops.
You’re not going to believe how easy these are. Grab a package of Pillsbury Sugar Cookie Dough, separate the dough into 24 balls, stick a craft stick in the side of the cookie, and bake. You can grab the full instructions for them here.
Once they’ve cooled just frost with a little bit of Betty Crocker frosting. I’m really digging the Whipped Vanilla frosting. It’s so light and creamy!
Set out all sorts of cute Valentine’s sprinkles and let your little ones decorate. My kids had a blast with this. In fact, they piled their sprinkles so high that it was a 3D cookie by the time they were done.
If you’re hosting a brunch time party like I did, or if you want to surprise your hunny on Valentines Day morning, then you’re going to love the simplicity of these Sweetheart Cinnamon Rolls!
All you need is a tube of the Pillsbury Grands! Cinnamon Rolls. Make sure you get the larger ones, as the smaller ones won’t unroll. You can find the full instructions on how to make these sweet things right here.
How adorable are these?!?!
I’m fairly certain that cinnamon rolls taste better when they are in the shape of a heart. Just saying. 😉
A big thing to remember about throwing any party is to keep your cool, and remember what’s most important – having fun! Don’t over do it, keep it simple, and enjoy yourself and company!
Now, who wants a cookie?!

- 2 Pie Crusts, box Red Velvet
For the Cream Cheese Glaze
- 2 oz. cream cheese
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp milk, or more if needed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- In a large bowl with a sturdy wooden spoon stir together the cake mix, eggs and canola oil until a soft dough forms.
- Unroll the pie crusts and press half of the cookie dough mixture on each pie crust, leaving 1/4inch of one edge clean. Roll up the pie crust from the opposite side of the clean edge and pinch the seam closed. Use a sharp knife to cut into 1/2 inch pinwheels.

For the Glaze:
- Heat the cream cheese in microwave for 20 seconds, until soft. Stir in the powdered sugar and milk and whisk until smooth. Add more milk if you want it a little thinner. Drizzle over cooled cookies. Store in an airtight container. Enjoy!
