Spicy Chimichurri Sauce

I introduced this spicy herbal treat to you the other day on my Spicy Garlic Pulled Pork Tacos.

Similar to Pesto, this contains lots of garlic, herbs, and some oil.

But Chimichurri also contains one of my favorite ingredients, {which makes it loads different than pesto} vinegar. White Wine Vinegar to be exact.

This green condiment is perfect on grilled meats, or any meat for that matter. I have already used it on tacos, in a pork panini {I told you I love leftovers!}, and on some Shrimp Fajitas {double yum!}.

Spicy Chimichurri Sauce

Different from a pesto, it's the perfect condiment for meat and veggies!

Ingredients

  • 10 cloves garlic
  • 2 cups parsley leaves
  • 1 cup onion
  • 1/2 cup oregano
  • 1/2 cup white wine vinegar
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp lemon rind
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Mince garlic in a food processor. Add remaining ingredients and pulse 8-10 times until chopped and combined. Store in an air-tight container.
