Is there anything more adorable than desserts packed up in tiny glass jars?
What is it about those jars that just make us get all big eyed and in goofy grinned? Is it their ability to be portable, or the idea of having a single serving of dessert all for ourselves? Either way they are just too cute to pass up.
I have scoured the internet to bring you some fun treats, desserts and gifts that are packed up real cute in Mason Jars!
This first one comes from your’s truly {so I guess I didn’t have to scour that hard to find it} It’s a real tasty Sweet Cherry Crisp made perfect for single servings of comfort. Make ahead and freeze then cook when you want one!
With the weather cooling down, it’s the perfect time for picnics. Imagine taking a few of these Chocolate Malt Brownie Parfaits from A Spicy Perspective along for the ride. Talk about a fantastic treat at the park!
Mel from Mel’s Kitchen Cafe created this fantastic Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Quick Bread in a jar, complete with an adorable printable. How cute are these for neighbor gifts this year?
Our Best Bites {they have a new cookbook out, yay!} brought frozen lemonade and pie together for this incredible Frozen Lemonade Pie in a Jar. Seriously, how much better can life get?
Of course the queen of all sweets Bakerella put together some irresistible Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Puddings complete with adorable print-out labels. Yup, I’m hooked.
Kristen from Confessions of a Cookbook Queen is not only my secret blog-crush, but she has a knack for creating mouthwatering desserts like this Frozen Turtle Pie in a Jar.
Shaina from Food for My Family wrote the book about sweets in a jar. No seriously! She wrote a WHOLE book called Desserts in a Jar! So she obviously knew what she was doing when she created this clever gift giving Gingerbread Cookie Mix in a Jar.
Kitchen Meets Girl has the right idea by adding chocolate and mint together for this Mint Brownie Grasshopper Pie in a Jar. I want to stock pile these in my freezer for the rest of my life.
Instead of sending home guests with something not-so-personal, The Hungry Housewife suggests making some of this Homemade Vanilla Sugar and packaging it in cute little mason jars. What a tasty parting gift!
Skip the Mason Jar and just use the lid for these genius Mini Pear Tarts by Fat Girl Trapped in a Skinny Body! WHOA!!
I don’t know about you, but all these great recipes make me want to go out and buy a whole pallet of glass jars!
