If you haven’t jumped on board the brown butter train yet, do it.

Brown butter is like the secret ingredient that you didn’t know you already had inside your fridge. The flavor is deep and nutty. Add a little garlic and it’s basically the bomb.

So how can you make this delicious meal in 15 minutes? Well, it’s all about prep and timing. The dinner comes together super fast, so make sure you have all your ingredients out and ready to go.

When it comes to the garlic, I used my handy- dandy garlic press instead of taking the time to mince. If you don’t have a garlic press you can mince it yourself, or buy the pre-minced stuff. No shame.

  1. I was planning to make this tonight but OMG Sodium: 1041.5mg!!
My husband has had a heart attack in the past and that is almost the allowed amount for the entire day. That’s a lot of sodium. I wonder where all of this sodium comes from since there doesn’t seem to be any added salt in the recipe.
    Otherwise it sounds delicious!

    1. What a lot of people don’t realize, or forget, is that seafood is naturally high in sodium. That’s why most seafood dishes will have a higher amount than what you might think.

  2. Oh my gosh this was good! To think, back in the day, before I became wiser…… if I accidentally overmelted the butter and it browned….I thru it out and started over…..the silly things we did when we were younger! Thanks for a great recipe! Happy day!

    1. Thanks Christine! I am hoping to be able to continue to add more 15 minute meals each month. I’ll probably put a link to all of them up on the top menu of my site, for convenience. 🙂

  4. You had me at garlic! This sounds so good. And I am in love with that overhead shot!

    1. Thanks Rachel! I have to admit, the overhead shots are quickly becoming my favorite angle! 🙂
