If you love the tangy flavor of cheesecake and the vanilla flavor of cake batter, this Cheesecake Cake Batter Dip is just what you need!
Serve with graham crackers, pretzels, fruit or cookies… this dip is delicious!

It had to include that delicious cake batter taste with the tanginess of a cheesecake, and of course SPRINKLES!

But more importantly, it had to be made in less than 10 minutes.
Winning!

This Cheesecake Cake Batter Dip is perfect for when you have unexpected guests, a treat for a baby shower, girl’s night, and of course – for BIRTHDAY’S!!
When I was younger my sister and I used to get those tubs of cream cheese frosting and dip graham crackers in it for a late night snack. This dip brings me back to those long nights of girl talk and giggles.

If you’re a cheesecake and cake batter fan, then you’ll love this super quick, {no bake, no egg, no butter} Cheesecake Cake Batter Dip. It’s amazing with graham crackers {for that graham cracker crust taste}, but also great with pretzels, and even apple slices too!

Cheesecake Cake Batter Dip
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup white cake mix, *see notes
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sprinkles
- Graham Crackers for dipping
Instructions
- Place cream cheese in your mixing bowl and beat on medium high speed for 3 minutes, or until it becomes light and whipped.
- Bring speed down to medium and add the sour cream and vanilla, mix until incorporated. Slowly add the powdered sugar and cake mix to the bowl and mix until combined. Scrape the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula and then gently fold in the sprinkles.
- Serve cold with graham crackers, pretzels, or fresh fruit slices. Enjoy!

For the powdered sugar should it be sifted?
It doesn’t matter if it’s sifted or not.
my birthday is coming next month, and I think this is going to be a tasty and delicious addition! Thank you!
Perfect birthday treat! 🙂
Nice. One caveat: the sprinkles REALLY smear out into the dip. It shows a bit in the photos, but my first swipe to fold them in produced long colorful streaks which then began to dye the dip a purplish color. Fold them in gently and quickly, definitely decorate the top with more, and perhaps try a container that has some texture or design to make the smearing appear less “muddy”.
I am making today for a bridal shower tomorrow, but I am using gluten free cake mix 🙂 I’ll follow up with the turn out!! So excited!
Hi. I was wondering if vanilla extract would enhance the taste or not?
I think that would be great. Just a dash though.
So excited to make this for a birthday party this Spring, thanks for sharing xox
Planning a family brunch this month and think this is going to be a fun and delicious addition! Thank you!
Omg it’s heaven!!!!! I used funfetti mix. Yum.
Tastes great, but, no matter how carefully you fold in the sprinkles, the color runs and makes the mixture a little messy looking
OMG…you are evil and must be stopped!!!!!!! Could you do this with a chocolate cake mix?
I’m curious how much this makes at one time? I want to have to this on my dessert table at my wedding reception. How many times would I have to repeat the recipe for about 150 people???
I stumbled across this on my FB feed and thought I would give it a try. I made two batches, subbing caramel instead of sprinkles in one and adding white chocolate and fruit jam to the other. Both came out amazing! I’ll probably just split one batch next time, as it made about 6 cups, but will definitely bookmark for future use! Thanks!
This looks awesome, but as a poor college student I don’t have a mixer. Are there alternatives? Can I hand whisk it? Blender? Thanks in advance.
I used my hand mixer and it started smoking towards the end, I will not do that again. I as well expected a cheesecake flavor that was not there at all.
You’ll want to make sure your cream cheese is softened before mixing. 😉
Does anyone know the yield per recipe?
Hi Pamela, I think you’ll end up with about 2 1/2 cups of the dip. It usually disappears before I can measure properly. 😉
Just made this to take to friends for dinner and I’m disappointed. Not tasting like cheesecake to me.
This is so good!!! I just made it! And everyone in my household loves it!

This was amazing! I made it and now I can’t step away from the bowl! My only change was I added 2/4ths of vanilla extract verses the 1 cup. I couldn’t be any happier. I ate it with strawberries
I would eat the whole thing to. I have a major weakness for these ingredients and them together sounds great.
Just made this for a food day at work and tried a bit for myself. All I can say is YUM! 🙂 Oh and that I’ll be making this again on the weekend for a party with my girlfriends. Love the recipe, thanks so much for sharing it!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
