If you’re looking for a simple and easy homemade treat to give out to friends, neighbors, teachers, or to just bring more Holiday cheer to your life, then look no further. This 3 ingredient peppermint bark is beyond easy and completely irresistible.
I was invited to guest post for the annual Holiday Bake Craft Sew Along put together by Rachel from A Southern Fairytale, Kelly from According 2 Kelly and Cindy from Skip to My Lou.
All November long there have been many tired elves {other bloggers} working to bring you special handmade and homemade holiday gifts on each site. Rachel’s guest bloggers have been busy in the kitchen with recipes, Kelly’s guest bloggers have got the crafty side covered, and for those who love to sew, Cindy’s guest bloggers are all over that.
Obviously Rachel asked me to come up with a recipe {my sewing and crafty skills are not typically gift-worthy}.
It’s super-dooper easy to make, so you can get back to singing Christmas Carols and trimming the tree, confident that you have your emergency neighbor gifts ready to go.

Super Easy {3 ingredient} Peppermint Bark
Ingredients
- 12 oz dark chocolate morsels
- 12 oz white chocolate morsels
- 6 candy canes, crushed, divided
Instructions
- Prepare a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- Melt dark chocolate over a double boiler. (bring a small pot with 1 to 2 inches of water to a slow boil. Place a metal or glass bowl over the pot of water, make sure it fits on top of the pot without touching the water. Place the chocolate chips inside the bowl and stir frequently until chocolate melts and becomes smooth in texture)
- Pour melted dark chocolate onto prepared baking sheet and smooth out to an even thickness (about 1/4 inch). Place in fridge to let harden.
- Clean out bowl and melt the white chocolates the same way.
- Once white chocolate is smooth, place 3 crushed candy canes inside the bowl and stir to combine. Pour over hardened dark chocolate and quickly smooth out.
- Sprinkle the remaining crushed candy canes over the wet chocolate. Place in fridge to harden again. After it's hard, use a sharp knife to carefully cut into small pieces. (store in sealed container)
