Lightened Up Bread Pudding

Lightened up bread pudding… because we sometimes need to indulge in guilty pleasures but can’t take the consequences!




  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Spray 8″×8″  baking dish with vegetable oil spray. Break slices of bread into chunks into baking dish.
  3. In medium bowl, beat together egg whites, milk, the 1/4 cup white sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Pour egg mixture over bread.
  4. In a small bowl, stir together cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and the 2 tsp of white sugar. Sprinkle spiced sugar mix over bread pudding.
  5. Bake pudding for 30-35 minutes, until it has browned on the top and is firm to touch. Serve warm or at room temp.
