French Toast Sticks

French toast in bite sized stick form!



For the French Toast Sticks:

For the Maple Syrup:


For the French Toast:

  1. Heat oil over med-high heat on stove top {or you can use a deep fryer}.
  2. In a shallow bowl mix together eggs, cream, milk, sugar, salt and vanilla with a whisk.
  3. Cut crust off of bread and slice bread into sticks.
  4. Dip bread into batter and let excess drip off, place in hot oil and turn occasionally till golden brown. Transfer to paper towels to cool slightly. Serve warm.

For the Maple Syrup:

  1. Dissolve sugar into boiling water. Once sugar is dissolved add the maple and give it a good stir. Serve warm.
  2. Store in an airtight container in fridge.
