This Creamy Alfredo Sauce Recipe is super quick and easy, perfect for topping fresh pasta.




  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Once melted add in the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  2. Add in the cream cheese and whisk gently until cream cheese is mostly melted into butter. The mixture will look a little clumpy, like cottage cheese, this is normal!
  3. Gradually pour in the heavy cream, while whisking, until mixture becomes smooth. Add in the shredded parmesan cheese and stir until melted through. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.


Alfredo sauce can be made ahead of time, but will require heating up on the stove top over medium-low heat. Stir until heated through and smooth again. Add milk to thin out sauce if desired.
